Basketball to ME is more than just a sport… When I bounce that ball I feel as if nothing else matters anymore, it’s just me and the ball, the world is no longer in mind at this point and neither is stopping. When I bring it up and shoot…it’s like all my insecurities, all my stress, all my mistakes, all my regrets have been taken out they’ve left me and gotten straight through that hoop leaving me with nothing to worry about but being happy. When I get out there to play it’s really an unexplainable feeling. When I’m at my lowest points and all I need to do is just get away from whatever it may be, it’s always been there for me to lock myself into that little world with nothing there but me, the ball, and that hoop.
